How to resize an image
Quick answer: To resize an image, pick a size, choose how it fits, add images and press Resize and download.
- Pick a size. Choose a common size from the list, or Custom size to type your own width and height or a percentage.
- Choose how it fits. Fill and crop fills the whole frame. Fit with border keeps the whole photo and adds a coloured border. Stretch changes the shape.
- Add images and press Resize. You can drop many photos at once. Each one shows its new size.
- Download. Save each image or all of them as a zip.
Resize without losing quality
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making it bigger than the original can't add detail, so it will look softer. For the cleanest result, start from the largest photo you have.
Need a file size limit too?
Fill in Max file size and the resized image is also compressed to fit, which is handy for forms that ask for both pixels and KB.
