The short version
The files you open and the numbers you type into Browser Tools stay on your device. They are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The only exception is Text to Speech, described below.
Files and text you use in the tools
Image, PDF, Word, video, text and calculator tools run entirely in your browser. The site's security policy blocks the pages from sending your files anywhere. When you close the tab, the data is gone.
Text to Speech
To make an AI voice, the text you enter is sent to our server and on to the voice provider, then the audio is returned to you. We don't store the text or the audio. To enforce the free daily limit we keep a usage counter tied to a hashed (not raw) IP address or your account, which expires automatically.
What is saved in your browser
- The invoice and quote tools remember your own business details, logo, currency and last invoice number in your browser's local storage, so you don't have to type them again. Clear your browser's site data to remove them.
- Some tools remember settings you chose. Nothing in local storage is sent to us.
Server logs, analytics and ads
Like every website, our hosting keeps standard request logs (page address, time, browser type and IP address) for security, for a limited time. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in the future (for example Google AdSense), this policy will be updated first; ad partners may then use cookies to show and measure ads, and you'll be able to manage that choice.
Payments
If you buy a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. To remember your plan without an account, we set one signed cookie on your device that holds either the pass expiry time or your Stripe subscription ID; we check subscription status with Stripe when you download.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect their personal information.
